21st July 2008Very comfortable and clean hotel with a beautiful golf course (£20 for a single round - good value) and excellent well-being facilities. Living in Italy, eating is always a problem when I come to the UK and the quality of the food here reflected that. Although the meal in the restaurant was well-presented, it was very expensive for what it was and the breakfast was no better than 'standard' (although of course I did not try the unhealthy Full English/Scottish breakfast). The rooms were spacious and the hotel very modern and clearly newly-refurbished. |
