If you can get to this historic spice house in one piece (it's a bad end of town litterd with doss houses, down & outs, dodgy guys and girls etc..) then its a real pleasure zone of the highest order! the sizzeling tandori chicken is about as good as it gets, served up with a choice of three house sauces and plenty of it. The nan is the size of the table, garlic a particular fave & you get to bring your own booze which Amin and his band of trusty friendly waiters happily serve up with cheery service guaranteed. Over the 10 years we have been frequenting this 70's time warp there have been fights, drunks falling over, old women being sick, drive by shootings, the occasional hooker in for a snack and a who lot af fun on the way.....quite a unique eating experience. |
