E Beattie E Beattie gave Asmaan Restaurant a rating of 3/5

Tuesday 7th October 2008

Nice surroundings, pleasant, courteous staff and good service. Food looked good and would have tasted better if it had remained hot. Main course, rice, sauce and Nan bread all served on cold plates which meant it cooled down too quickly. Pity, because the food tasted OK but cold. Suggest they heat their plates up before serving. Won't go back because of that which is a shame because it is very centrally situated in Glasgow and pre-theatre menu at ?8.95p for 3 courses was good value (if food had been hot!)

Frances Park Frances Park gave Asmaan Restaurant a rating of 4/5
My family have been going to this restaurant virtually since it opened, and that's many years ago, as it was one of the first few to open in Glasgow, we have eaten at many indian restaurants, however we keep returning here, the meal and value for money are both excellent, as is the service from the staff. Keep up the good work.
